Armed with the knowledge gained from the 850QC,
we removed the need for the Quick Change gears.
 This changed the layout and required new castings.
 











Without the confinements of the Richmond cast housing, this offers an open architecture that allows us to build you The Griffin Gearboxes.

Using the ratios from 850QC, inside the open architecture of the 900 series case, we start our gearbox line.
 
First off is
The 950 4+1 5 speed.


The 950 4+1 offers a close ratio 4 speed with a 5th gear for cruising.

The 950 4+1 offers a torque rating of 500 pounds per foot.


Building on the improvements that Richmond Gear made to the Nash transmission, which included upping the torque rating to 675 pounds per foot, we are proud to introduce

the option of the billit cases machined from 6061 T6 aluminum.

The 900 series transaxle offers the widest array of differentials. 
 All of them are equipped with 31 spline axles.

The 950 4+1 and 960 come stock with a 2 spider open differential.
The 950 SS and 960 SS come stock with a 4 spider open differential.
